Our Copier reprographics SLA Contract is due for renewal in December and we are seeking companies to tender for the business. Our current contract does not at present cover all of our requirments, specifically the master copier does not print Capita SIMS reports properly forcing us to use more expensive Laser Printers.
We currently have 5 copiers (3 standard photocopiers around the building, and a heavy duty colour copier and master super duper mono MFC that does all the sollating stapling scanning).
We would like to have replacment devices that are all network ready and compatible with Atlman P-Counter Software which we will use to manage them.
The most important aspect of this contract is tha ability to print off and collate student reports from our SIMS system. As all students take different courses, the length of the reports varies from report to report. Our current device is not able to tell when one report ends and another one starts so cannot collate the reports properly. We know that this is possible to do as we can successfully print the reports on our HP P4014 Office Laserjet printer. This is obviously not ideal though as the cost per print is significantly higher than the copier.
At this stage we are only looking for rough prices, and would be inviting prospective companies to come on site to produce an accurate tender after discussions with our Reprographics technician and our Admin department.
