We are looking to buy an iSCSI SAN array to complement our existing IT infrastructure.
The primary requirements are:
* iSCSI support
* 2 or more GBit ethernet ports for data transfer (must be able to run concurrently) - ideally 4 ports
* 1 or more dedicated 10/100 ethernet ports for management
* 16 or more hot swap SATA drive bays
* 1TB (or greater) SATA disk support in every bay
* RAID 5 and RAID 6 support -OR- RAID 5 plus hot spare (aka RAID 5E)
* Redundant PSU and fans
* Standard rackmount chassis, with all mounting rails etc. included in price
* Snapshot support included in price (please provide details where possible)
* Minimum 1 year warranty (please provide outline of terms)
Please provide a price for all of the above including delivery.
If you would like to quote for 1TB (or larger) hard disks as well as the array, please include the price of the disks on a separate line as we may choose to purchase disks elsewhere.
Please include options for extending the warranty as a separate line if available.
Please provide manufacturers' model numbers and links to datasheets and/or user manuals where possible.
We have so far evaluated models from:
* AC&NC (Jetstor)
* Axstor
* Infortrend (EonStor)
but any manufacturer will be considered including those mentioned above.
