We were donated 50 PC's but without screens. We want to start by re-dedicating the little-used library as a new digital resource area, linked to a Virtual Learning Environment, for classes to use when the ICT suite is in use (which is most of the time) and for pupils to do some self-assessment and catch-up / get-ahead work in various subjects, on their own time.
As a school which does not utiise the internet for pupils other than in 6th Form ICT classes, this will be an enormous boost to the learning opportunities presented to pupils.
Finances are extremely tight, hence we had to wait for the second-hand donation of PC's.
