Initial verification

Fixed equipment and material is of the correct type and complies with British Standards or acceptable equivalents

All part of fixed wire installation are correctly selected and erected

No part of the fixed wire installation is visibly damaged or defective

All circuit charts and references are up to date and all circuits are clearly labelled at each outlet

Periodic Inspection and Testing

The safety of persons against effects of electrical shock and burns in accordance with the general requirements of BS7671

Adequate circuit protection against damage to property by fire and heat arising from an installation defect

Confirmation that the installation is not damaged or deteriorated as to impair safety

The identification of any installation defects and non-compliance with the requirements of the regulators

Test Certificate and deviation Report

A full period test certificate showing deviations form the currect regulations

A full deviation report for each distribution board tested.

Deviation report to show all non-compliant items in order of priority
