Hi chaps,

Looking for 3 Network Attached Storage solutions to expand our capacity.

We have found that by purchasing 3 enclosures such as the Thecus N5200 for £400 per unit and 18 Samsung Spinpoint 1TB HDDs at £100 per OEM unit (£1800) we can do this all for £3000 (exVAT) which includes 3 spare drives for redundancy / failures etc..

If anyone is capable of offering a solution similar to this but at a better price we would like to hear from you. Our only stipulation is that the drives be readily swapable incase of failure etc.. so a chassis like the Thecus is essential.

We will consider seperate components like the above example using OEM parts if it keeps costs down.
