We wish to tarmac some of our school pathways.  The area required is dependent on the cost!  We have had quotes as follows:
1.  9 sq m. prepare area for surfacning, supply treated wooden edging boards and fix with wooden pegs. Make up levels withscalpings, roll and compact. 10mm dense surface course Macadam at 40mm thick, roll and compact to a smooth finish.
2.  as above with 100mm thick scalpings and 10mm dense surface course Macadam at 40mm thick - 80 sq m. and 225 sq m.
3.  Stone Dust Path, remove bark chippings. Remove subsoil, supply treated wooden edging boards and fix with wooden pegs.Scalpings at 75mm thick, 3mm limestone dust at 40mm thick, roll and compack to a firm finish. 10mm dense surface Macadam at 40mm thich for tarmac approach.  80 sq me and 225 sq me.
