For use in electronic class registration with, as a minium, the following basic requirements:
Built-in wifi capability
Long battery life
Strong, robust units able to tolerate classroom environment.
Units must NOT be 'near obsolete' product lines - they need a minimum operational service life of 3 years, including battery.
A case or other durable means of protecting screen when not in use.
Delivery of ALL units 3rd week in Dec
Units are required to be simple, reliable, readily available, in current manufacture and offer basic functionality to meet following tech requirements:
Pocket PC 2003 operating system or above
64mb internal memory (128mb preferred)
400MHz Intel XScale processor or equivalent.
240x320 minimum screen resolution in portrait mode
128mb memory card for data back ups
